Mullet Academy: Music Rights on Tour

Wanna make money from music? Mullet Academy is here to help. In this one, experts from BumaStemra & Sena teach you all you need to know.

Musicians: are you missing out on income from your music? Most artists don’t realize this: every live show, stream, or public play generates money. But if you’re not registered or informed, that money never reaches you.

That’s where Music Rights on Tour comes in. At this first Mullet Academy session, you’ll:

• Meet and connect with the experts who actually make a living from making sure you get fairly paid.
• Discover exactly how to register your songs and gigs.
• Learn the difference between songwriter royalties (Buma/Stemra) and performer royalties (Sena).
• Walk away knowing how to claim royalties you might already be owed.
• Enjoy a closing performance by German/Bulgarian rapper BRE.

You’ll be learning directly from the experts:

• Buma/Stemra → make sure 30,000+ songwriters, composers, and publishers get paid.
• Sena → protect performing artists and recording artists whenever their music is played in public.

You’ll connect with fellow musicians, ask your questions, and close the night with live music — the Mullet way.
