About event
Music @ The Movies
A tour through the world of film music
Music comedy
In their new music & comedy show, cellist and entertainer Rebecca Carrington and pianist and composer Martina Colli combine their creative forces. Together they have developed a program that honors some of the most important film compositions in cinema history - virtuoso, funny and emotional.
The musical journey through iconic soundtracks also reflects the two artists' own experiences: Martina works as a film composer herself, Rebecca has already worked on some of the most famous film soundtracks with her cello The audience can look forward to surprising background stories and emotional sound worlds - with music from Star Wars, E.T., The Fabulous World of Amélie, The Godfather, Forrest Gump, Back to the Future and many other cinema classics. All pieces were rearranged especially for this evening.
With virtuoso playing, a lot of charm and a large portion of humor, the duo promises an unforgettable evening between great emotion and fine entertainment.
Written and played by: Rebecca Carrington & Martina Colli
