is one of the most famous museums in Vienna, located in a historic palace in the city center. It is famous for one of the largest collections of graphics in the world, including works by such masters as Dürer, Raphael, Rembrandt and Picasso. In addition to graphics, here you can see collections of paintings, photographs and architectural drawings.
The museum also attracts contemporary artists with its temporary exhibitions.

🎨Marc Chagall (1887 - 1985) - one of the most famous artists of the 20th century, grew up in the small town of Vitebsk (in the territory of modern Belarus) in the family of an Orthodox Hasidic Jew from the working class, became famous in Paris and died in his home in Paul-de-Vence.
Chagall’s fantastic, poetic visual worlds are fascinating and - how no matter how familiar they are to us, they always pose new riddles. In style and content, his work moves between traditional and avant-garde. Chagall lived through the development of 20th century art from primitivism to cubism, fauvism and surrealism and created his own pictorial language.
The exhibition at the ALBERTINA Museum, featuring approximately 100 works from all phases of the artist's career, focuses on this lively exploration of life's most original and universal themes, revealing the diversity of "impossible possibilities".
