Adelaide Wilson (Lupita Nyong'o) arrives with her husband and two children for a holiday stay at the cottage on the California coast, where she spent the summer of summer. At first glance, a balanced and satisfied woman hides a large childhood trauma, and immediately upon arrival a chain of seemingly innocent events evokes a strong paranoia and the feeling that the family idyll will end soon. The premonition turns into reality when four weirds appear in the middle of the night on the driveway to the house, who soon attack the family. The frightening nightmare is all the more terrible because the attackers look just the same as the Wilson. They just have weapons in their hands. And do not hesitate to use them.
