Christiane F., a young girl from Gropiusstadt in West Germany in the 1970s, who had her first encounter with hashish at the age of 12 at an evangelical youth center, and heroin at the age of 13 at a discotheque. She soon became addicted to drugs, going to school during the day and earning drug money by prostitution in the afternoon with her friends at Zoo Station. Christiane F. tells about the fate of children, about whom the public learns only from the headlines of the newspapers announcing their deaths.
