About event

The election campaign is at its peak and with it the division of society. Fascists, migrants, vagrants or other "plagues"...Politicians often scare us with class enemies, from whom they come to save us. In short - divide and conquer. But what if the "emperors" who try to pit us against each other are "naked"? What do we need to save from? What unites us and what divides us? And anyway - what kind of society do we want?

Concord exists in a divided society. See for yourself and come under the surface with us. We invite you to the first live DEMDIS debate!

When? Tuesday 26.9. 18:00

Where? Juraj Fándly Library in Trnava

Entrance fee: Voluntary contribution.

Guests: Jozef Lenč, political scientist and university teacher, Martin Poliačik, Deputy Director of the Kyiv branch of GLOBSEC and critical thinking lecturer

Moderator: Michal Horský, director of DEMDIS, publicist

A LIVE stream will be provided from the discussion.

Democracy is a discussion. However, instead of a dialogue, we conduct a two-sided monologue. However, as we can see, it can be done in another way. A fair and open discussion between conflicting camps is possible and with the right approach leads to agreements.

Be part of a unique event and join in the search for common ground. Let's not divide ourselves unnecessarily. Let's discuss with an open mind.
