About event
vernissage + workshop: MY WORLDS, MY WORDS ✦
Come with us to the opening of the exhibition My Worlds, My Words by the Palestinian-Jordanian painter Nawras Rashed @somnawras, a graduate of the VŠVU in Bratislava, who lives between two worlds and paints from the place where they meet.
The exhibition presents paintings balancing between peace and chaos, an intimate story and a collective experience. In them, the author looks for points of contact between what we all share - between different worlds that, despite everything, intertwine.
The opening will also include a workshop for children and parents What is my world?, during which they will together create a large-format painted textile work.
📍 Knižnica Pionierska 12, Bratislava
📅 Wednesday 10 June 2026 | 16:30 – 18:30
🎟️ free entry
