Myo-concept with Hans de Jong

The MyO concept is a unique "hands-on" treatment concept in physiotherapy and osteopathy.



It connects the function of all joints and shows in an extremely simple way that e.g. Cervical headache complaints can be the result of a distancing trauma on the ankle. The result of a disturbing is often a dysfunction of the upper jump joint. This is compensated in a very specific way.



The MyO concept always focuses first on the cause of the problem (e.g. the singleistorsia) and the consequences in the context of the systematic compensation (SC´s). The pain area is therefore certainly not the first region where we have to treat to be able to achieve quickly and effective results.



In the case history, the myo-concept focuses primarily on the cause of complaints. In practice we see 3 causes:

1. A physical trauma, e.g. A fall, an accident or a (sports) injury.

2. A psychological trauma, e.g. A serious diagnosis or death in the family, but especially stress (o POF with the work) is an important factor in our society.

3. An infection or experienced disease. This influences the segment of the spine. For example, it is very easy to explain why pneumonia can be the cause of knee complaints.



It is always special to experience how systematically the human body reacts to a trauma systematically. The research and treatment focus on the SCs mentioned. The concept has 8 different SCs in the spine and 2 in the periphery.



This knowledge gives you a completely different insight into complaints and a completely new spectrum within the physiotherapy work.

The course includes a basic training of 3 modules of each 3 days each. Here you learn the specific theoretical knowledge and the soft treatment techniques that make the Myo concept so unique. De kenmerken van het concept zijn:
