Discover the history hidden under the best address in town. As part of the European Days of Archeology event, archaeologists from the Regional Monuments Office will present the results of their research at Náměstí SNP 1.
Today it is the town hall, in the past it was a burgher's house, which was inhabited by magistrates, the Count of Como and the župan. At the lectures, you will learn how analyzes from the waste pit helped reveal the development of the city and its natural environment, and you will also find out what today's bathroom tiles have in common with medieval tile stoves. The presentation of the latest archaeological research will help you understand medieval life in the city in a wider context.
