Get to know the world of the director's work!
The workshop is dedicated to everyone who is interested in getting a glimpse of the director's work and to the issue of creating a production. You will get to know the basic procedures of the director in the preparatory stages of creation (how to determine the theme, conflict, initial concept), i.e. what will be helpful to you when working with the team. The director reveals some tips on how to make the production have a statement, a goal kick and an atmosphere. You will try to set up a mise-en-scène, create a dramatic situation, or how to guide the actors so that they are authentic.
Daniela Evjáková, director (SK/CZ)
is a graduate of drama directing (JAMU, Brno), puppetry (VŠMU, Bratislava) and music and drama pedagogy (UKF, Nitra). She founded Divadlo oProti, collaborated as director with Divadlo Husa na provázku, HaDivadlo, Municipal Theater Zlín, as a teacher and director with the Zlín Higher Vocational School of Acting in Zlín, the Josef Rosinksý Academy of Arts in Nitra, the Academy of Arts Senica and others. He also works in the field of lecturing, production, marginal film, scenography and theater education research. Currently, he creates workshops for youth within SD Plusko in the Slovak Theater in Uherské Hradiště, where he also directs and pedagogically leads the SKRZ studio of young creation.
