It is known to be known that on Saturday 25th May on a friction watch on the vineyard's sauce in a wide range of Zend. On the occasion of the patron saint of the vineyard, the Vajnorskí vinohradník spolek, together with the time of Bratislava-Vajnory, will position you. Dondziji entertained, good wine and our winemakers are supported.
The schedule of the event - celebration of st. Urbana in Vajnorské vinohrady

Location: Vinohrad Široké, above Bez-kou, city district of Vajnory

Participants will be welcomed by representatives of the Vajnorský Wine Association - Via Vitis and the moderator of the event will inform visitors with the program of the day. Guests can settle and prepare for the following activities. Members of Vitis will talk about their mission to save and restore Vajnorské vineyards, sharing the experience of the work and vision for the future. This block will give guests the opportunity to look behind the scenes of the renewal of vineyards and wines, which will later have the opportunity to taste. Urbana cannot be complete without the traditional blessing of the vineyards. The pastor will join us to sanctify the vineyards and ask for abundant crops and protection from inclement weather. This spiritual act is a return to ancient traditions that the wine -growers preserved for centuries. Folk music will sound the atmosphere by traditional songs that are an essential part of every Vajnor celebration. This performance will bring lightness and joy to the event that all visitors will be able to enjoy. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste wines from local winemakers that arise with regard to tradition, nature and the future. For those who are interested, the possibility of wine will also be able to buy. These tasty local meals are prepared according to old recipes and perfectly complement the pleasant atmosphere of the event. Throughout the event, the sale of souvenirs and products with Vajnor ornament will be available. We look forward to all who will come to celebrate St. Urbana and commemorate the rich wine tradition Vajnor.
