🔺 Hope is characteristic of the message of Pope Francis, because constantly - despite all crises and problems - sees the world and the Church in it as God's reality open to the future. The renowned grace of 2025 is to be carried by this spirit: worries about the present, courage to overcome old sins, selfishness and forgiveness and solidarity, to trust in merciful God, the openness of the future. It follows the second Vatican Council, especially the pastoral constitution of joy and hope. Since 2005 he has been working at the Department of Biblical Sciences of the Catholic Theological Faculty of Charles University in Prague. She is the author of the books Pavel of Tarsus and his world (2014), the time of Jesus Nazareth: Historical-Teemological Introduction to New Testament (2019) or searching for God's face (2020).
