About event
Bratislava-Ružinov district brings you as part of the International multi-genre festival Symphony of Arts:
The most beautiful Slovak folk tales
an interactive concert for children
The most beautiful Slovak folk tales are coming to the Symphony of Arts festival as another of our original author concerts. It is an interactive concert for children from 3 years of age, in which a live folklore band, children's singers and professional actors will perform.
Fairy tale motifs are drawn from titles such as Budkáčik and Dubkáčik, Twelve Moons, Hop sa hor, sa zem otóvar se, Čertov poklad or Janko Hraško and connect with well-known folk songs: Páslo četá pávy, Prší, prší, Kolo mlynské, Dance, dance, Červené jabľočko, Po nábreží kóník beží, Kukulienka, kde si bola and others.
The project was created with a clear goal: to show children the beauty and charm of Slovak folklore from an early age - naturally, through music and fairy tales. It is a fun and modern way to build children's relationship with their own roots, language and traditions, and at the same time support their self-confidence and pride in where they come from. You will no longer be allowed to enter after the concert has started.
Adverse weather: In case of adverse weather after the concert has started, the entrance fee will not be refunded.
