Ubadriomed static noise stretches out in the synthetic world. We find ourselves in a space in which the cold alternates heat, tension peace and human is disappearing in favor of technological - although it can be pulled back, finding new forms of sensitivity and learning to survive otherwise, stronger. It is a world that exists after, but also before. The residual memory and the feeling of the familiar call on the touch experience, but we prefer to remain silent observers of the coexistence of new forms. The direct trace of a person remains only in hints or completely absent, but there are flashes of sensory life that persist hidden in the deep layers of technological processes. Different author approaches meet in the interests of creating hybrid situations in which we observe unknown forms with ambiguous functions. Both present imaginative environments and speculative narratives that question the established ideas of reality and its interpretations. Through the visual illusion and simulated effectiveness, they refer to (in) human perspectives that are close to technological environments, synthetic materials and futuristic or alternative visions. Objects and paintings carrying abstract and geometric elements, work with a visual language that offers a view of autonomous mechanisms existing between the area and space. Design and modernist principle of repetition and variation of motives. Its author's program naturally oscillates between image, object and painting, dominating modular compositions, imaginative details or interior interfaces of fictitious mechanisms. With flat painting, it imitates various non -organic materials or parts of the devices and transfers us to the environment of automotive design or retrophuturistic utopian models. Convinctively, he creates haptic illusions that are characterized by attractive sterility disturbed by soft forms and currently with vista to the bowels revealing the inner life of objects that could arise from the synthesis of the machine and the body.
Natália Sýkorová (1998, lives and works in Prague) works at the intersection of visual art, research and performance, developing speculative strategies that connect with technology and ecological reasoning. In her dystopically acting installation situations, the cold and sharp edges of the attractive but at the same time disturbing metal objects set in modifiable ecosystems come to the forefront. It deals with climate crisis and survival possibilities, blending of biological and technological processes or water systems that become bearers of events and a separate infrastructure affecting our bodies. Sykor's new forms, somewhere in the background marked by history and mythology, offer space for balance between man, machine and nature.
