About event
The last introduction of the song retromusical about the stesque after the home and the singer, who (in) emigrated.
If you can no longer sing more!
The popular singer Gabriel King lives on a state, corporate hostel and is trying to fully fulfill all obligations to his homeland, audience, but above all music. After the nights between Umakart's walls, she listens to songs on request and dreams of a perfect, shining show, in which singers not only have costumes sewn with flooding, but also accompanied by charming and purely singing vocalists. All this, far away in the west, they have. While here, in the centrally planned system, everything is dull, imperfect, amateur. Gabriel King feels that it has been time to change things, take responsibility for the muses and his talents into his own hands ... And one day he disappears. Where else but to a country where they have everything they dreamed of. Where he finally has everything he longed for. Soon, however, he finds that his romantic songs about the convergence of bodies and souls are not interested in anyone and that the local shows have their dark aspects. His ideals and visions get on the frack. All the more when they become acquainted with the fate of other emigrants. Fortunately, there is music, a balm for the soul, whether Gabriel King has signed it to anyone.
The original philosophical retromusical from the recent Czechoslovak history was created directly on the order of the Švanda Theater. The author of the text and director Jakub Čermák together with the author of music Petr Marek (from the Midi people) play very imaginatively, albeit with the Bernhard skeptic, with the theme of idol and ideal, emigration and complaint after the country, as well as the obscure, which still wakes up. The production appears explicitly vulgar expressions and sexually tuned scenes, it is recommended to viewers from 15 years above.
