The renowned hard rock band Nazareth returns to the Czech Republic. In February 2026, fans will be pleased in the Sono Center in Brno. The program of the evening will be launched by the Czech band Turbo, which has been on the music scene since the beginning of the 80. Rock group, known for many rock hits, as well as the cover version of the Balada Love Hurts of the middle of the 70s. The group was founded in Dunfermline from the remnants of the semi -professional local band The Shadettes (originally Mark V and The Red Hawks) by singer Dan McCafferty, guitarist Manny Charlton, bassist Petnew and drummer Darrell Sweet. The name was obtained from the The Weight by The Band. In 1970 the band moved to London, where in 1971 released its first, album of the same name. After getting attention thanks to the 1972 Exercises album, Nazareth released another album Razamanaz in early 1973. Tracks like Broken Down Angel and Bad Bad Boy were placed in the British ranking Top 10 List. This was followed by the loud n current at the end of 1973, which contained a hit this flight tonight , originally from Joni Mitchell. In 1974, they released the album Rampant , which was no less successful, although no single contained. In February 2014, Linon Osborne was replaced, but in December 2014 the band was forced to cancel several concerts due to Osborn's illness and postpone the tour of the United Kingdom. In January, Osborne announced his departure from Nazareth on his Facebook, and a month later the band, which currently consists of its co -founder Pete Agnew (bass), his son Lee Agnew and Jimmy Murrison (guitar, has been working in the band since 1994) announced a new singer. Sentance has worked with many famous formations and musicians, for example with Foreigner, Dio and Black Sabbath and was a frontman of the well -known Swiss group Krokus.
