I AM NOT LIVING, BUT I LIVE
The main part of the exhibition offers an authentic view of the life of homeless people – captured by their own eyes during 24 hours. What is their real life like? Photographs reveal not only everyday life, but also desires and feelings that remain hidden to many of us. 📸
The project follows on from last year's initiative and was created with the support of SOS Banská Bystrica and photographers Alan Hyža and Gabriela Teplicka.
THE WAY HOME
The second line of the exhibition consists of the author's cycle by Gabriela Teplicka, which captures the stories of people starting a new life within the Integration Housing Program, Depaul Slovakia. The photos bring stories full of hope, determination and new beginnings.
"I photographed primarily for us - for those who live seemingly ordinary lives and rarely have the opportunity to look into these powerful, often invisible stories," says Gabriela. 🏠
Come and see the exhibition that changes the view of what home means.
We look forward to seeing you! 🧡
