The M.R. Štefánik Conservative Institute and the Demokrati civic association invite you to a discussion that will take place on November 13, 2025, at the Pálffy Palace on Zámocká Street in Bratislava.
Is Slovakia experiencing "fatigue" from freedom? And why are the leading representatives of the state dragging us back to the East 36 years after the gentle revolution? Where to look for a way out of all this?
Soňa GYARFAŠOVÁ will not only ask these questions to our guests, who will be:
- Tibor NOVOTKA, political prisoner from the time of normalization, signatory of Charter 77 and one of the authors of the protest statement against the current government
- Ľubomír MORBACHER, historian, lawyer and initiator of the prosecution of communist crimes | Living Memory and the Institute of National Memory
- Marek VAGOVIČ, investigative journalist and writer who for years devoted himself to the topic of pre-November and post-November justice
At the event, investigative journalist and writer Marek Vagovič will present a preview of his new book General Mistake.
