Nedělní dixie: J.J. Jazzmen & Barbora Vágnerová

J.J. Jazzmen & Barbora Vágnerová will perform as part of the Sunday Dixie cycle in Prague's Jazz Dock.

The band J.J. Jazzmen was founded in 1993. Under the leadership of leader Jan Jirucha, who also gave the band his name, they performed with the Remembrance of Louis Armstrong program in many places around the world: in Germany, Denmark, USA, England, France, Switzerland or Italy. In 2000, Armstrong's former teammate, member of his "All Stars", clarinetist Joe Muranyi, guested with J.J. Jazzmen in Prague and Berlin. The following year, the band was honored with an invitation directly to the cradle of jazz. In May 2001, she played at the famous New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in Louis Armstrong's birthplace.
