Nedělní Dixie: The Cotton Gang & Sophia Lamoš

A band that was formed at the end of the last century in the classrooms of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University. They play the joyful music of American traditional jazz bands of the 1920s and 1930s - i.e. the turbulent times of prohibition. The music works both for listening and for dancing, especially today, when traditional jazz is returning to swing dance halls and luring couples with its exuberance to loose dance moves.
