About event
Dear dancers,
we cordially invite contact improvisation to Sunday jam! Sunday morning?
We would like to make the jam available to the cross -country, those who cannot come on weekdays and of course all who want to experience Sunday morning in dance.
Our wish is to gradually install Sunday pits (probably once a month) and create a community platform for meeting and collective learning in contact improvisation.
Jam is imagined as a space that we enter together with the intention to be active co -creators of a shared dance field. The space where every movement, gesture and experience is part of the ever -changing composition.
Jam will have an introductory and final circle and a short lead (Lead-in).
Welcome are experienced or beginners. The previous experience with contact improvisation is desired, but is not a condition. If you are on JAMU contact improvisation for the first time, let the organizers know about yourself and do not hesitate to ask for support. Please read the principles of contact improvisation and respect your limits in dancing. By participating in JAMU, you confirm that you have become acquainted with these principles and are ready to follow them during JAMU.
