About event
Fifty years of Suriname's independence: the Blazers and their guests take you to the colorful heart of Suriname in A Firi Fu Fri. Fifty years of Surinamese independence: that calls for music that touches you deep inside. The Wind players and their guests take you to the colorful heart of Suriname, where rhythms, melodies and traditions come together in a musical celebration of freedom and connection. With A Firi Fu Fri – The feeling of freedom – styles and cultures merge in a musical melting pot. Classical sounds meet modern rhythms, and everything moves, breathes and buzzes.
A Firi Fu Fri is an ode to 50 years of independence, but also a musical journey that explores the feeling of freedom, inspiration and connection.
With close harmony group Black Harmony and singer Jeannine la Rose*.
Celebrate with us, feel it, live it!
