Negro Impacto + Luciana

Negro Impacto is a duo from Dundalk consisting of singer/songwriter Chi Chi and producer/multi-instrumentalist Laurence (aka StrangeLove). The pair quickly gained the attention of the Irish music scene with their neo-soul sound and entertaining live sets. Negro Impacto's sound is alternative neo-soul with elements of RnB, rock and funk - as heard on their debut EP. Their music has been compared to The Internet and Steve Lacy, and elements of inspiration from Erykah Badu and Willow can be heard in Chi Chi's dreamy vocals. In terms of production, multi-instrumentalist Laurence cites DJ Harrison and Arthur Verokai as definite influences on his style.

The Prague-Brno band Luciana was formed in 2019 as a fusion of soul singer and actress Luciana Tomášová and Brno musicians - Jury Habarty (Ghost Of You, Chau Česko), Vojtěch Vaida (Phoibos, Lydian project) and David Pšenčík (Acute Dose, David Invalid & Individual Band). An unmistakable voice, fragile lyrics, jazzy drums and lo-fi instrumentals, it's all Luciana.
