Did you know that the South American Andes offer stunning world -class treks? The Peruvian Mountains of Cordillera Huayhuash [Kiduj-Vaš], where banditi raged a few years ago, is now one of the treasures of alpine tourism. The demanding trek around this mountain massif is 90 km long and almost every day overcomes the high saddle climbing to 5000 meters. This was not afraid of a biologist and traveler Lukáš Synek and the reward for his efforts was the turquoise lakes, mountain pampas, flowering cacti and white peaks crowned by the second highest mountain Peru. Just one big splendor!
Lukáš Synek
Luke is a plant biologist, traveler and photographer. He admires mainly mountains, deserts and life in extreme conditions. For example, he undertook a successful expedition on the historic Silk Trail (published a book in 2008), a survey of a number of "where he is not going" and several long -distance treks in the world's highest mountains. He presents his experiences and photographs through traveling projections. He has published in the Czech online version of National Geographic. It is accompanied by sightseeing tours for reputable TA in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iraq and Greenland. He is scientifically dedicated to research in the field of cell biology of plants in the Academy of Sciences.
