A funny yet wise parable about human life, society and what is more, modern strategy or ordinary humanity. Even the oldest representatives of the "oldest trade" need to know what marketing is if they want to survive in economic competition...
Five ladies in their prime are sunbathing on a park bench somewhere in New York during their lunch break. They discuss different topics, but we will understand in a moment that the title of the Oldest Craft applies to them... They have known each other all their lives, they know everything about each other and they will never leave each other. What holds them together? Does their craft need effective marketing, effective communication and functional management to withstand economic competition? Or do they just have to toil until their bodies are torn apart?
The well-known American playwright describes with bitter humor the life of ladies who have subscribed to the oldest craft whole and for life.
