The February early elections in neighboring Germany are the result of the long-term crisis there are the heterogeneous government coalition of social democracy, green and liberals. At the same time, the German political landscape has changed significantly in recent years, and the question has long been hanging in the air as to whether the post -war consensus on the unacceptability of cooperation with the extreme right, which is now represented by the AfD party, is definitely collapsing. All this must be seen in the wider context of the dynamics of the international community, whether it is a radical turnover of US policy towards cutting democratic standards, continuing Russian aggression in Ukraine or urgent calls for joint solutions to climate crisis. In addition to the analysis of election results, their impact on the political situation in Germany and possible scenarios of further development, the panel discussion will also focus on key areas such as climatic policy, transatlantic relations or cooperation with Czech.
