About event
They have their own press and newspaper,
they want us to ******, while they write history.
Are they really so afraid of the truth?
The production Enemy of the People is based on the classic play by Henrik Ibsen, but under the direction of Máté Kantáre, it acquires a new, urgent meaning. At a time when facts are relativized and public discourse is subject to manipulation, this timeless political example becomes relevant again. The author team of the production did not choose this play for its historical context, but for its ability to reflect the present. The viewer can find their own social reality, their own conflict, and their own truth in it.
"Today we no longer live in an age of truth and facts, but in an age of interpretations. Everyone has their own truth and facts bend according to who they serve." Máté Kantár
