About event
Memory of Zuzana Navarová. Christening of the reissue of the album Nerez - Ke zdi.
The concert of the group NEREZ & LUCIA is composed of new releases (album Zlom a Cela) and the biggest hits of the original group Nerez, such as the songs Tisíc dněn mez námi, Kočky, Já I will not live with you, Until my last breath. And since the concert will take place during Advent, Christmas-themed songs and carols will also be included.
Founding members of the legendary Nerez Vít Sázavský and Zdeněk Vřešťál teamed up with singer Lucia Šoralová and in 2019 recorded a record that contains 12 mostly original songs by Zdenek Vrešťál and Lucie Šoralová, and with interesting guest authors (Ondřej Soukup or Silvia Kaščáková). The album was released on CD and LP. Above all, the vinyl version follows on from the classic albums Nerez Masopust, Na várený nudli and Ke zdi. The long-awaited return of Nerez was a success - the album surprises with its genre diversity - the recording is stylishly straddled across Europe. You can look forward to čardáš, folk ballad, reggae, chanson and acoustic pop music, extraordinary singing performances of the main protagonists, refined choirs and virtuoso solos by other group members. The lyrics of the songs in Czech, Slovak, Hebrew, Serbo-Croatian or Romani confirm the transnational ambitions of the entire NEREZ & LUCIA project. The release of the album was supported by several clips, a large number of concerts in Czech and Slovak cities and a massive advertising campaign.
In 2021, the second album Nerez & Lucia: Cela was released. The group continues the trend of its own original work, where the main protagonists and authors are Lucia Šoralová, Zdeněk Vřešťál and Slovak lyricist Silvia Kaščáková. Flutist Robert Fischmann joined the main singers of the band. Currently, the promotional tour for this new release by the publishing company Warner Music continues.
