About event
Gaucho Gaucho. Documentary film by Michael Dweck and Gregory Kershaw. - from September 11th in the cinema.
In the barren landscapes of the Salta region in northwestern Argentina, the photographer and painter Michael Dweck and the cameraman Gregory Kershaw dive into the life of a gaucho community in their enchantingly beautiful film Gaucho Gaucho: livestock families, which keep ancient traditions alive in the face of a high-tech presence. In breathtaking black and white pictures, the directors observe subtle people who have had a connection to their environment, their animals and their country, which has been characterized by great intuition and empathy for centuries.
