About event
🎬 INVISIBLE LANDSCAPES
A documentary film about the sound of the land that we (can't) hear.
Two musicians, together with a philosopher, a field recordist and a field recordist, go to the places of the Icelandic and Czech landscapes - marked by industry and seemingly untouched by man - to discover the sound of climate collapse.
Through recording technology, they let the physical places where fundamental events take place be heard energy, natural and political processes. The film sensitively examines the landscape as a space of memory - sound is both a consequence of the events of the past and a harbinger of the future.
🌍 What does the landscape tell us when we really listen to it?
🌫️ And are we already deciding today whether our future will be inevitably destructive?
Come and experience a unique sound essay about a world that is changing - often more quietly than we are willing to hear.
The documentary will be screened at academic department.
