About event

New Fossils may be new to Budapest's live jazz scene, but that doesn't mean they don't have experience. Led by drummer Dániel Ferenc Szabó and bassist Marcello Gyányi, two of the most sought-after players of their generation, they perform their own compositions. After "sharpening their teeth" through a wide range of collaborations in the pop world, they wanted to dive deep into the world of improvised music. They formed a band with local jazz heavyweights Dániel Varga on saxophone and István Tóth on guitar, but needing more piano and synthesizer sounds, they invited too-cool-for-school Damján Ocsovay to join the band. Together they form a contemporary jazz quintet that creates a dark, cinematic sound mixed with youthful vigor and head-nodding rhythms.
Daniel Ferenc Szabó - drums
Marcell Gyányi - double bass
Daniel Varga - saxophones
István Tóth - guitar
Damján Ocsovay - piano, keyboards

A New Fossils - Sötét, filmzenés jazz, fiatal lendülettel! Ez a fiatal, taydenes zenekar a jazzt a 21. századba repíti. A tagok in part a pop világábó lászáve, friss energiával és új idegekkel gászátítják a jazzt.
Ha szereted a modern, dinamikus zenét, akor ezt a concertet ímádni fogod.
Szabó Ferenc Dániel - dobok< Gyányi Marcell - nagybőgő el mutatkozik be a hazai közönségnek Kovacs The Hun.
Ha a geňa, filmzenes atmoszférával bíró krimi- vagy dark-jazzben utazunk, akor Kürtössy Nándor, azaz Kovacs The Hun a mi emberünk. Összetett világában hiphop, jazz és filmzenés mókámok olvadnak sáíchos úmátíbe, amiből kiszálazhatnánk mezjátszozörejeket, árnyas ambient texturákat, akoustík hangszerek (fúvósok, zongora, dobok) berántét terekbe terekbe terekbe terekbe és azót idejesen sabábra reflektáltatott lebegtetéseit a éssál pont az, hogy hagyjuk nagám berántani a zene želá fantásával felépítál, belső szálló előhívó világába.
