The New Model Army in MeetFactory is moving to November 15, 2025. The band decided to postpone their upcoming European tour due to the health of the drummer Michael Dean. Tickets remain valid for the new date and wish Michael early recovery.
Michael Dean. Tickets Remain Valid for the New Date and We Wish Michael and Speedy Recovery.
_______
White lights in the crowded hall, audience and band are literally one creature, the key chorus increasingly up -to -date songs with dull space. Feeling that can only be experienced at one concert: New model Army.
Three words, sixteen records, 44 years (!!!) on the scene. You will not find many performers across genres that release their best recordings at such an advanced career phase - as evidenced by this year's New Model Army called Unbroken. "Unbroken is New Model Army as we know them, what is to say, this is more punk Than Most of the Pond Groups Who 'Try' to Be Punk in This Strangely, and Occasionally Beautifully, Fucked-Up Modern Society. The band returns to Prague after three years.
_______
North English Bradford, early 80. The vigorous trio of New Model Army, headed by singer and guitarist Justin Sullivan, gives this era characteristic sound: compositions on their first records reflect the war on Falkland, unemployment, class tension. Names like 1984, Vengeance, Spirit of the Falklands or Tension speak for themselves. When Thunder and Consulation came out in 1989, there was a trio at the peak of popularity. Who would say that NMA will be more than three decades later to release albums that will at least match the pearls from the late 80s?
