NewDad
Melkweg Amsterdam, OZ
Saturday April 18, 2026
Gallery opens: 7:30 PM
More info & tickets: www.melkweg.nl/newdad
The Irish band NewDad from Galway brings dreamy indie rock with a good dose shoegaze. They sound like the musical love child of Wolf Alice and Just Mustard, with inspiration from The Cure. This tour is a celebration of the milestones the band has already achieved. You will also hear work from their debut album 'Madra', the recently released EP 'Safe', and their new, yet to be released second album. A record on which the band sounds more confident and mature - but without losing their dreamy sound.
Supported by Liveurope: the first European initiative that supports concert halls in promoting emerging musical talent from Europe.
The end time of our events is never fixed and depends on the course of the evening.
