Nexus-conferentie 2025 'Apocalypse Now'

An world order based on international rules and universal human rights: with that endeavor, dozens of countries joined forces after the Second World War - for peace, equality and a livable earth. But now, sixty years later, we see from Europe to how the rules are set to our own hands inside and outside our continent, and the law belongs more and more exclusively to the strongest. Whether at the expense of hundreds of thousands of innocent victims or even of the entire planet. The world is no longer staggering, but is thrown back and forth by a thousand storms. Where will these storms end? Will a new world rise from the ruins they cause? The Nexus conference 2025, "Apocalypse Now: The Revelation of Our Time", which will take place on Saturday 22 November, is about this, which will take place in the National Opera & Ballet.

In the last Bible book, the Apocalypse, four apocalyptic horsemen are presented, hunger, hunger, hunger. The image is followed with a vision of earthquakes, storms and fires that further destroy the earth. In the meantime, evil in the form of a seven -headed monster, and a second beast that misleads humanity as a false prophet, also applies their power over the world.

For those who follow the news today, these apocalyptic prophecies hardly seem any imagination. Do the global wars, famine nods and natural disasters announce an Armageddon? Who are the riders, the animals and the false prophets of the present time? And how can we overcome them, so that we create the new heaven and earth that also follow the end time in the Bible? We will ask these questions to an international group of prominent thinkers, diplomats, politicians and activists on 22 November. The speakers will be announced at the end of August, but tickets can already be ordered!
