We invite you to an exceptional discussion with the parents of queer children and the creators of the book "I want to tell you something"
~ truce bookshop and the Association of Parents and Friends of LGBT+ people cordially invite you to a discussion that will bring you closer not only to the process of creating the book, but also the authentic stories behind it. This book contains fifteen emotional stories of parents, relatives and one ally of queer people.
Have you ever wondered what parents go through when their child confides in them with the phrase "I want to tell you something"? How do they deal with surprise or shock and what steps lead to acceptance and support? What challenges and joys do they experience when their view of the world changes and they create a strong community?
We will also discuss the process of creating the book itself - how the stories were chosen, what ideas were the most difficult to process and how managed to introduce facts into the text and disprove common myths.
