Niki Jacobs | Getuigenissen

Especially for DeLaMar, Niki Jacobs creates this musical story in honor of 80 years of freedom. During this evening, Jacobs is wearing the stories of people who have experienced the unthinkable, with testimonies from Babi Yar, among others, with us in Auschwitz, Amor Fati and the choice. These moving testimonies are framed by songs from the ghettos and camps from before and during the war, combined with contemporary compositions, specially written for this evening. Jacobs lends her voice to those who can no longer speak, and gives them a voice and face again in the here and now through music and story.
