About event

Nina Rosa is a Prague trio founded by Slovak singer and violinist Nina Marin. Nina met her teammates during her studies at the Jazz Conservatory in Prague. Ten years later, they founded a band that combines various styles including jazz, swing, reggae and folk, maintaining a characteristic colorful soundproofness for the band. The name of the band was lent by Nina's biggest fan - her grandmother. Her lifelong support inspired Nina to take advantage of her virtuosity (as an grandmother would say) to create a project where she could create the music she likes. On the scene since 2016, the group has played more than 130 concerts in the V4 region and has been lucky to perform at many prestigious festival - eg: Pohoda (SK), United Islands (CZ), Akkordeon Festival (AT), Holidays in Telč, Boskovice and various others. In addition to the fans, the band also seems to be inclined to music critics and critics, so in 2017 the group earned a nomination for the "discovery of the year" in Slovak radiosh. Since then, the music of this trio has been spreading to the Slovak and Czech ether and, in addition to the FM radio, Radio Devín and Vltava ČRO stations, it was also in the live broadcast of Czech Television. At the end of 2019, Nina Rosa released her debut album "Discover, where the band fulfills its commitment to musical variety in terms of genres, instrumental occupation and texts. Critics listened again and so Discover won three nominations in the categories" Album of the Year " The band ”in the Czech Tais Award 2021.

In June 2025 she presented her second studio album Joy with the band. After three years of creative roads, recording experiments and inspirations from different parts of the world, a collection of songs was created that crosses the boundaries of genres. Almost after its launch, the album became the album of the week on Radio Devín and gained positive reactions of critics.
