NLPicnic #6
Event by: Keep-Current Meetup
Location: Burggarten, Josefsplatz 1, Wien - Innere Stadt
About event
Dear Natural Language Processing Community Vienna, we are happy to announce the return of our annual outdoor community event: The NLP-Picnic!
The word "Picnic" (probably) originated from the French term "pique une niche," which means to "pick a place, outside, for a meal."
So we've picked one!
Let's meet again for after-work mingling, networking, and open conversation about LLMs, Machine Learning, Chains of Thoughts, Coreference Resolution, RAGs and Agents, industry and Academy, and more!
Date: Wed, Jun 22nd 2026
Time: 17:30
Location: Burggarten
What to bring: A snack or a drink to share with the rest, a blanket to sit on, a smile, and a good mood!
How to find us: We'll do our best to locate a spot near the library (on the left side when facing Albertina), on the upper part, close to the ring.
Whether you're a seasoned NLP expert or just curious about the field, this event is perfect for anyone interested in language and technology. Mingle with like-minded individuals, enjoy delicious snacks, and engage in stimulating discussions. Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with the NLP community and to have a great time!
We look forward to seeing you!
