About event
Studio 12 invites you to the 15th year of the nationwide event of European importance, Noc divadiel 2024, which will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
Noc divadiel is a European event presenting theater in a creative way in a non-traditional time frame. During the Night of Theaters, the audience can explore, discover, get involved in the action or just sit comfortably, perceive and be carried away by the theater all night long.
Stúdio 12 has prepared a full-length program for you consisting of performative invitations, a performative lecture, during which we will cook soup and an evening concert by the Éter band.

PROGRAM Studio 12:
PERFORMATIVE INVITATIONS
16. November at 5:00 p.m.
The forerunners of the main program of Theater Nights will be performative invitations to projects whose premieres are planned by Studio 12 by the end of the calendar year: for the premiere of Song of Love and Death (Maria Taytakova), Wesendonck-Lieder (Peter Mazalán) and Holders (Jedným Dychom Theater).

KASCHTESUPP: UNTELL OF ONE RECIPE
16. November at 6:00 p.m.
We will eat chestnut soup with acorns!
Symbiotic mycorrhizal relationships are important for the edible chestnut and the spruce mushroom. With the help of this old recipe from southern Switzerland, we can experience the exchange of nutrients, minerals and water that takes place in the forest underground with our own sense of taste. And not only that: we will delve into the climatic context of the "Little Ice Age", during which the edible chestnut played an important role in some parts of Europe in the 17th century. This climate change brought not only agricultural revolutions, but also a new genre of painting, such as the winter landscape. All these lines lead us to fungi, which, with their diversity and irreplaceable function in ecosystems, increasingly occupy the curiosity of scientists and laymen alike. Ultimately, however, the most important part of the evening will be the idea that environmental, human rights and sociocultural issues are connected vessels. Or in the vocabulary of new materialism: material and discursive levels are inseparably linked in mutual intra-actions.
Please note that the soup contains allergens 1, 8, 9, 10. The basis of the soup is bone broth.
Robo Švarc (*1983, Bratislava) – visual artist, curator , author and translator. He studied painting at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. In 2021, he published the book Non Exit and the translation of the book Congo Tribunal by Milo Rau.

ÉTER BAND CONCERT

Eter is an alternative band playing its own dreams.
Atmospheric, gentle, but also funny and theatrical.
It's like a kiss on the eyelids. Like a stray cat. Like a popsicle in winter. Like a full moon.
It crosses borders and genres and refers to the deep connection of all living things.
