the family and the relevant gender issues reflected by forms of media art and intermedia after the mid -1990s and the focus of the next decade. The collection represents works that articulate the genus in a conditional way, as well as the aspect of privacy - in a scale from introverted expression to radically colored language. The exhibition offers a reference on forms, nuances in discourses of postFeminism and feminism in Slovak art after 1990.

Tero Abaffy has been dealing with femininity and naturalness since the study. In older work she noticed the idealization of women in various contexts. She did so often in the medium of digital drawing or paintings in bright colors; A typical smiling emoticon appeared in her faces. Later, the color line began to spread, the manuscript loosened, animals appeared in the paintings, the theme diverted from the outside world to exploring the surreal. In his current works, he materializes dreams as a journey to the subconscious, at the bottom of our human nature, where it is possible to encounter the most authentic self, to observe, understand it and recharge it.

Natalie Šimonová's work is characteristic of layers' research and contextual and conceptual, but also painting and material. In the first case, there are layers of public space that transmits the canvas and transforms them into image layers, in the second case, it transmits image layers to the public space where it applies them as new structures, usually called "painting in the expanded field". Here they become another layer of public space in terms of meaning and material. The “growth” of Simon's painting evokes the natural process in which the public space changes through material transformation, ie the growth of the rust layer, or by adding and removing color deposits.

The exhibition presents images of landscapes that are normally hidden to the human eye, even though they are quite commonly offered. These are the potential everyday records of the country, but distinguishing through the "digital eye", which is now an integral part of our lives. The aim of the approach of Ľubomír Slovenia is to show that the technical image can be both a source of factual information as well as aesthetic qualities. The exhibition also opens up space for the environmentalist way of working with the country's images.

New exhibition of Vincent Cabinet will introduce works from the collections of the Považská Gallery in Žilina, Orava Gallery in Dolný Kubín and Turčian Kubín. in Martin. In a hundred works of various painting techniques from drawing to oil painting, various thematic areas of Hložník's creation (portraits, landscapes, still life, clowns and ballet dancers, apocalypse, sadness and fear) will create. 🎟️ Tickets can be purchased in the building of the Považská Gallery of Arts in Žilina, Ul. Štefánikova no.2 at the time of the event, at a price of 5 euros for an adult visitor and 3 euros for children from seven years higher. Children under six years, ZŤP with accompaniment and seniors over 70 years of age have free entry for the event. One ticket includes entry to all exhibitions and the entire accompanying program.
