✨Neradičná night, full of new knowledge, activities and entertainment, all who visit the Slovak National Museum in Martin during ⭐noci museums and galleries. On Saturday 17. May 2025 prepared a program of three of its components - Ethnographic Museum, Andrej Kmeť Museum and Museum of Culture of Czechs in Slovakia.
🌟Múzeás will close their doors later than usual. All three can be visited within one purchased ticket from 18.00 to 23.00. (last entry at 22.30).

🌙 Museum night has a special power-and therefore the dummies in the showcases of human and clothing exposure (7.00, 21.45 pm) come to life in one evening by the Folklore Ensemble Lysec of Bela-Dulice. Karol Plicka, who is dedicated to the main exhibition in the Ethnographic Museum, loved Horehronie. We will introduce this in the program will be Veselie, in which in addition to the wedding party you will also know how the bride "captured" at 20.30. Did you know that the ethnographic exhibition at the Ethnographic Museum celebrates the 50th anniversary of the opening? As it was created, we will introduce you at a new exhibition called Ex50sia, which we will open during the Night of Museums and Gallery.
During the night of the museums you will also be prepared creative workshops, where you will be able to try decorating gingerbreads, cramping sheep wool, embroidery with a crooked needle, make a dove or a horse or a weave.
The secrets of the museum garden will be told during a commented tour from 7 pm Visitors will see a demonstration on live animals (owl, snake, crayfish, rodents). Mini Special Exhibits - as a double -headed or three -legged calf, failed, almost horror -looking liquid preparations from the zoological depositary will also be shown with a zoologue's expert commentary.

A live exhibition of monsters of the Great Fatra streams will present the inhabitants - invertebrates living in our flowing waters. When examining living microscopic aquatic organisms, visitors will have the opportunity to look into the microworld through large screening on canvas. Horákov family. During the tea we will tell you about the life stories of the house owners-personal archivist Tomáš G. Masaryk, historian Anna Gašparíková-Horakova and folklorist, academic Jiří Horák. In addition, we will introduce the exhibition Tatra's dream of Otakara Štáfla.
