About event
This program is wheelchair -accessible
Noorderword is a literary event with the cosiness and diversity that the Noord district is known for. An event where everyone greeted each other: young, old, writer, musician, northern resident, not a northern resident. Also take a chair and sit on!
The next edition of NoorderWord is planned on Wednesday 26 March 2025.
On the line-up there are poet Ellen Decwitz and Kleinkunstenaar, poet and songwriter Lotte Velvet. The northern word monologue is about Annie Vos and is written by Simon de Boer and performed by actor Jenny Arean. Of course you can listen to the contributions of house poet Lamyn Belgaroui and house band Trio Lampe. Bookstore about the water is present with a book table and gives book tips!
As always, the presentation is in the hands of writer and northern resident Christine Otten. Christine Otten broke through in 2004 with the great novel The last poets who were nominated for the Libris Literature Prize, edited for theater and was translated into English. This year her novel appeared once I told you my story.
