About event
Noorderwoord is a literary event with the conviviality and diversity that the North district is known for. An event where everyone greets each other: young, old, writer, musician, North resident, non-North resident. Grab a chair and join us!
The next edition of Noorderwoord is scheduled for October 22, 2025. Writer Christien Brinkgreve and comedian Piet van Eeghen will be guests, among others. The full line-up will be announced soon.
Of course you can listen to the contributions of resident poet Lamyn Belgaroui and house band Trio Lampe. Boekhandel Boekhandel van Noord is present with a book table and gives book tips!
As always, the presentation is in the hands of writer and Noord resident Christine Otten. Christine Otten made her breakthrough in 2004 with the great novel The Last Poets, which was nominated for the Libris Literature Prize, adapted for theater and translated into English. This year her novel Once I have told you my story was published.
