About event
DISK Trnava theater group, four-time winner of the CREATIVE ACT OF THE YEAR award.
About the production:
Here, here, here lies our misery! That's why our nation tightens, crouches and slavishly crawls. Is it possible that our people should have gained manliness, that when he said a bolder word, they slapped him on the mouth for it?
Or was it that he should have renounced his old sins, that they only gave him an opportunity to commit them?
Do you think he should have held onto something for that, that he had nothing of his own, that from birth to death the worst nicknames were repeated to him?
It would be amazing if our people he was different from what he is, and whoever thinks that with two or three good words he can get him out of that abandonment, he doesn't know the whole curse that lies deep on him. (Ľ. Štúr)
