Normies Study Group as part of FNAF - open call for participation
Event by: Festival of naked forms
Location: Kafkárna – Centrum pro umění a ekologii UMPRUM, Buštěhradská 2, Praha 6
About event
The 12th annual Festival of Nude Forms will feature the Normies Study Group event - a collective research workshop that addresses objectification, intimacy, desire, attention, visibility, and the ways in which bodies become things - and things become bodies. The output of the five-day joint investigation will be a group performance in the festival program on Sunday 6/9.
What is Normies Study Group?
Normies Study Group is a collective research and performance format developed by Matilde Flor Usinger and Ruben R.
During five days, a temporary group meets to explore intimacy, corporeality, relationality, sexuality and collective presence through joint physical research. What emerges from this process becomes the final performance.
This is not a workshop.
This is not therapy.
This is a space for collective body exploration.
Who can apply?
Anyone interested in intimacy, performance art, body research, collective experimentation and shared presence.
Previous experience with performing arts are not necessary.
We welcome applications from people of all ages, body types, abilities, genders, sexual orientations, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, and levels of artistic experience.
Diversity is not just an addition to this work, it is what makes it possible.
