About event
The conservative M.R. Štefánik Institute (KI), the Ukrainian Institute (UI), the Institute for Public Issues (IVO) and the Civil Society (OS) invite you to a discussion about how the communist parliament changed to a democratic one in Czechoslovakia between 1989 and 1990.< br/>
What role did the communist parliament play during the 1989 revolution? How did the co-optations take place and what did they change? How was the form of the first free elections decided? How did the functioning of the parliament change after the first free elections in June 1990? How did the Federal Assembly and the Slovak National Council function in Czechoslovakia between 1990 and 1992?
We will also discuss this with our guests.
