Even if it's freezing outside, let's show that a bicycle is a great means of transportation in any season - even in cold weather! 🌬️❄️ Awaiting You
• A pleasant bike ride through the city
• A great community of people united by the love of cycling
• An atmosphere that will warm you more than a coat!
Don't forget:
• Warm clothes and reflective elements
• Functional bike lights
• Good mood and a taste for a great ride!
❄️ Let's show that the bike belongs in the city even in winter! We are looking forward to seeing you!
Standard rules:
- start Dolná Bráná, Hlavná street at 18:00
- driving pace is comfortable. But it can be more difficult for the little ones
- we only drive on ROADS, not sidewalks
- we only drive in one, right lane
- undisturbed crossings at intersections are ensured by more experienced riders in reflective vests, agreed in advance - if it is half of the mass in the intersection and the red light comes on, we continue driving and keep the mass safely together!
- we indicate a change of driving direction, even in mase
- I behave predictably in the mass and drive smoothly (no mouse-talking)
- it is welcome to speak to future friends and friends during and after the ride
- all means of transport without an internal combustion engine are welcome ( scooters, skates, longboards, skateboards, ...)
Moving in the city can be expensive and environmentally demanding. But it can also be cheap or beneficial for our environment. It's up to us what we choose.
Critical mass are regular mass bicycle rides through the streets of the city, the aim of which is to draw attention to the unused potential of bicycle transport, draw attention to environmental sustainability and show people in motor vehicles that they are not alone on the roads. They are more of a celebration of cycling mobility than a protest.
