About event
The discussion will focus on the first months of operation of the newly elected European Parliament and the legislative plan of Ursula von der Leyen's second commission. We would like to discuss the following questions:
- How do MEPs perceive the composition and form of the new European Commission?
- What major shifts in the VDL 2.0 agenda can be expected?
- What legislative plans of the Commission resonate with them, which they look at with skepticism?
- What plans and ambitions do they have in their committees?
PANELISTS
- Ľubica Karvašová, Member of the European Parliament, (Progressive Slovakia, Renew Europe)
- Katarína Roth Neveďalová, Member of the European Parliament, (SMER-SD, Unaffiliated)
- Vladimír Šucha, Head of the Representation of the European Commission in Slovakia
The discussion will be moderated by Radovan Geist, publisher of the EURACTIV Slovakia portal.
