🌟The well-known Slovak clinical and forensic psychologist comes with the eighth volume of the successful marginal psychology series - and this time with an even greater social impact. The new book is dedicated to the emotions of guilt and shame - deep inner forces that accompany us from childhood to old age, shape our decisions, relationships and self-perception.
These universal, but often misunderstood feelings affect healthy people and those with mental disorders, ordinary citizens and those who have broken the law. The author offers readers a unique insight into their various forms in psychological literature, fiction and especially in the real stories of people he met in his practice as a psychotherapist and forensic expert.
This year his contribution was also recognized at the national level: the White Crow award for long-term professional and social contribution and for the courage to enter the public debate with an important, value-based voice about mental health and quality of life society.
The book is not only a professional work, but also an inspiring guide for anyone who wants to understand how guilt and shame affect our behavior, self-evaluation and relationships.
