About event
The city of Bratislava invites you to the very first New Year's mulch party.
"How to say goodbye to the Christmas tree?"
Together up to 300 Bratislava Christmas trees are mulched, and they are happy to mulch yours as well. Everyone can come to Mulčovačka with a tree, but also without a tree (trees from the surrounding corrals will be available for mulching), and every visitor can take home fresh mulch from Bratislava's Christmas trees, which they can put with tree, bush or flowerbed.
What is mulch actually good for?
Mulch from of conifers is used for mulching flower beds, prevents the growth of weeds and supports the formation of humus. In addition, mulch maintains sufficient moisture, reducing the need for watering. And you can use it, for example, with conifers, ornamental trees, perennials or climbing plants that are comfortable in an acidic environment. These are, for example, azaleas, rhododendrons, heathers, heathers, as well as a large part of conifers and other predominantly evergreen leafy shrubs.
